Flux is a super cozy and fun studio with warm, passionate instructors teaching in a range of styles. I deeply appreciate how Flux offers accessible options to the community like their free Saturday class, BIPOC scholarship, and work-trade. I feel valued and cared for at this studio, and able to advance my practice. Also, the natural light and sunset views are exceptional, I highly recommend going to a class around that time!
Jessie Marshall
Instructor
Jessie’s classes are rooted in creative sequencing, curiosity and the belief that feeling a little better in your body can ripple into the rest of your life. She first came to yoga as a way to move her body, but fell in love with hot yoga and then enrolled in Teacher Training to deepen her own practice, never intending to teach. The experience unexpectedly transformed her relationship with yoga: what began as exercise became a practice that helped her quiet the noise, reconnect with herself and move through life with more curiosity, presence and playfulness. She is currently completing her 300-hour teacher training and is also a certified breathwork facilitator.
Jessie’s teaching style is grounded, lighthearted and approachable, balancing structure with flexibility and intention without taking itself too seriously. She strives to create a space where students feel supported, empowered to listen to their bodies and free to explore within the practice. You can expect playful transitions, progressive peak poses and thoughtful pacing that builds confidence while inviting exploration. Experience intentional movement, eclectic music and clear, supportive guidance that meets you where you are while encouraging you to discover what’s possible.
Outside the studio, Jessie is happiest exploring the mountains around Bellingham with her dogs. She believes the best classes balance effort with levity and often reminds students to breathe, flutter their lips, and remember: it’s just yoga.
