Bali is a province of Indonesia and the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands. East of Java and west of Lombok, the province includes the island of Bali and a few smaller neighboring islands, notably Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan. Yes! If you come as a couple or as 2 friends you can room with your person, or if you are enrolling alone will do our best to match you with someone else to share a room with 2 beds.

You will fly into I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport where it will be a short 20-minute transport to our retreat venue and we will pick you up.

Simply choose your accommodation and click the link to pay for a non-refundable $600 deposit. Next, we will break up your balance into monthly payments and charge your credit card at the 1st of each month until you are paid in full. Or, get a 5% discount by paying in full via check.

There is a non-refundable, non-transferable $600 deposit. We do understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, but because of our pre-retreat financial obligations to the center, deposits cannot not be refunded. Before you sign up, please make sure this is a retreat you can make time and space to attend. Full payment is due 90 days before the start of the retreat. We highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance just to be safe.

Our food is grown locally, in our gardens and on an organic farm in Bedugul. Organic whenever possible, farm to table buffet style meals. The food is created with exquisite care and love, both your taste buds and spirit will rejoice. Primarily plant-based but meat options available if desired, all of it healthy, delicious, and nutritious. Food nurtured by Mama Bali, and in return, we can’t wait to nurture you.

October is a good time of year to visit Bali. The average temperature in Bali in October is 80°F, with daily temperatures ranging from 75°F to 88°F. Nights are cooler, with temperatures dropping to around 73°F.

October is one of the hottest months in Bali, along with April. The island receives 12 hours of sunlight per day. Although it’s warm and sunny, there is an increase in rainfall as the month progresses. Bali is a tropical island and it’s relatively humid all year long. However, the humidity is manageable in October all month long. Rain should be expected although only an average of 8 days over the month and rainfall comes in the form of short, tropical downpours. Temperatures remain warm (avg temp: 80 °).

Bali is a tropical paradise, so you can expect to see a variety of insects, including mosquitoes, spiders, butterflies, geckos, and more. It’s all part of the natural ecosystem here. We take preventative measures to control the mosquito population. However, it’s always a good idea to bring insect repellent.

Yes! We have hired a private chef to cook for our group all week and we they will be able to fulfill your requests as much as possible. If you have a anaphylactic serious allergy to anything at all please let us know ahead of time so we can make sure we can accommodate your needs.
