Join us on an exclusive yoga retreat to the Algarve, the stunning southern coastline of Portugal, a region blessed with beaches, picturesque fishing villages and 300 days of sunshine per year. Unlike most retreats, this one will be set in a lovingly restored historic villa in the heart of an Algarve old town, a place unspoiled by mass tourism. Known for its earthy charm, cobbled streets, bohemian art scene, and warm hospitable people, this is a place to reconnect with a slower, seasonal way of life, and with a genuine community of creative, like-minded souls. Our home away from home is easy walking distance to fabulous waterfront markets, charming family run restaurants, and ferries to the outlying islands. Enjoy the onsite spa treatments, relaxing pool time, wine tasting at a nearby vineyard, salt flats, bike tours, hiking, paddle boarding, “Dead Sea” Bathing… and amazing European cuisine. A bespoke yoga experience in an authentic setting, add a private chef and lots of time to explore, and sit back to witness the magic.

What’s the weather like in October?

In the Algarve Region of Portugal we will find amazing comfortable temperatures with sunny days in the 70s to cooler nights in the 60s.

The Algarve, situated on the southernmost region of Mainland Portugal, has more sunshine per year than California. Octobers in the Algarve are relatively warm, with an average daily maximum of 23.2 ºC and lows of 14 ºC during the night. The high season crowds have all gone home, but the sun is still shining and there’s plenty going on.

September and October are two of the best months to visit Portugal. The weather is still warm and pleasant, and the temperatures are much more manageable for sightseeing or hiking. It’s also a wonderful time to visit many of Portugal’s wineries with the grape harvest in full swing. The beaches are also much quieter.

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
