My name is Oly Steinmetz I’m married to an English speaking fitness instructor, have 2 sons Luke 13 and Matthew 10, our Dog Leena, and kitty cat Simon. I used to be an Alaskan fisherman but now do electrical work. I like to be challenged and try new things. Motorcycles, yoga, and paddleboarding are a few of my enjoyments.
How long have you been practicing at Flux Power Yoga? How did you know this was your place?
I have practiced @ Powerflux for 4-6 months. It is a great place to flush out our stiffness in exchange for flexibility and friendships.
How has your practice evolved and /or what benefits have you gotten in your practice and in your life?
Sometimes the practice is just maintaining and other times its expanding beyond ordinary boundaries =)
Favorite pose and why?
Most poses I like but Standing bow or Dancers pose is a great posture that portrays, beautiful asymmetry, grace, and strength.
Any advice for new yogis?
Advice….hmmm…just keep showing up and the results will come. Trust the process!
