Warrior of the Week: Clara Senger
How long have you been practicing at Flux Power Yoga? How did you know this was your place?
I started practicing at Flux in October of 2017. I knew Flux was my place because of the energy at the studio every single time you walk through the door. I love the balance of 55 minutes of heart and mind centering practice and a really good physical workout.
How has your practice evolved and /or what benefits have you gotten in your practice and in your life?
My practice has gotten much more consistent. After doing the 40 day challenge and the May 31 day challenge I was definitely more aware of the positive impact of consistency. The benefits for me have been countless- some that stand out are being able to be more in the moment, both in practice and life. Being able to see things from multiple perspectives. Recognizing what is a construct of the mind and it’s conditioning and what is reality. Being ready now…
Favorite pose and why?
My favorite pose changes frequently! A lot of times it ends up being whatever the pose of the week is as we dive deeper into it and get more out of it. I can always count on shoulder stand though for a feel good moment and quick change of perspective.
Any advice for new yogis?
Bring an open heart and an open mind to your practice. Bring a balance of being gentle with yourself and pushing yourself to your edge.
