Marren Hanna

Marren first began practicing yoga ten years ago in the redwood forest in California. Later, she went on to complete her 200hr. YTT while studying on a permaculture farm in Costa Rica in 2019. There she discovered how to incorporate the essence of yoga into her everyday life, through food, relationships, breath, and creating ceremony. A few years later, she began to experience some health challenges and it was her relationship with yoga that brought her back to a healthy state of balance, healing, and vitality within her body, mind and spirit. She became fascinated with the many ways in which yoga can heal the body and went on to complete her RYT-500 in 2022 with a focus in yoga therapeutics and earned complementary certifications in yin, restorative, chair, senior, and aerial yoga. She is currently enrolled in a two-year C-IAYT Program to become a certified yoga therapist.

Marren’s teaching style often intertwines the ancient and philosophical teachings of yoga with new and up-to-date discoveries and knowledge – weaving together a teaching style that is holistic, trauma informed, adaptive, and mind-body-focused. She believes firmly that yoga is for everyBODY and strives to allow every  student to feel comfortable and empowered within their practice and within their beings as a whole.
